Heartfelt Holidays

‘I've got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love actually is all around.' — "Love Actually"

Cheers to AJ on Christmas Eve.

Cheers to AJ

When Chrissy Lynn’s (Operations) son was born premature on Christmas Eve, she and her husband had a lot to worry about. But now, they’ve turned that time of worry into a chance to celebrate their son. Every year, they take AJ, now about to turn 5, to the Grand Concourse in Pittsburgh, where they celebrate him with giant sundaes, trains, and all the love he’s always had behind him. They hope to keep the tradition going long into the future so he always knows how treasured he is and how much love he has surrounding him … and how much ice cream he can eat.

Jordan's mom, Candi's, cookie legacy.

A Sweet Legacy

Jordan Mitrik’s (Marketing Communications) mom had her own cookie baking business — Cookies by Candi — that she ran from her home, especially during the holidays. After her passing, Jordan and his sister have taken it over to keep her memory and her legacy growing.

This is what Jordan has to say:

“She will always be the Cookie Queen – both in our eyes and the eyes of others – and there isn’t a world where her delicious cookies, the love she put into each one, and the joy she brought to others through her baking should come to an end. Her legacy needs to continue.” — Jordan

Merry Christmas from Brunner.

See Ya Next Year!

Every year, Brunner closes up shop from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day to give our employees the chance to relax, refresh, spend time with loved ones, and celebrate the traditions we’ve shared here. We hope you're able to take the time to enjoy your holidays to the fullest, too. Happy holidays from the good people doing great work at Brunner.
