Brunner and Client Deka Lash Produce the Lash Selector App, Furthering Partnership
Chosen as lead digital partner, agency successfully completes second project this year
Pittsburgh (August 20, 2019) – If you’re a beauty and lifestyle aficionado, you’ve heard of Deka Lash. In an age where informed beauty customers are looking to take more control over customization, Deka Lash has delivered upon this consumer trend with its new progressive web app, the Lash Selector. After first selecting Brunner as its agency in 2018, then embarking on a successful website refresh earlier this year, Deka Lash knew Brunner was the right collaborator to bring to life its vision for the Lash Selector.
Brunner leveraged the functionality of a responsive website with a more traditional app design to create a dream output: a progressive web app. This structure enabled evergreen technology while also creating a graceful user experience.

Since late last year Brunner has led a variety of Deka Lash marketing projects including a website user experience audit, which then evolved into video production efforts and a digital creative refresh ultimately setting the stage for the progressive web app.

And that’s what we did with Deka Lash,” said Trish Duffy, UX Design Manager at Brunner. “Optimizing this experience for the user, while not being limited by what Android or iPhone app platforms may require, enabled us to create something that was platform agnostic and dynamic.”
